I laugh when I see these because the 1% vs 99% is math, its numbers you can’t exclude your self from that percent just because you aren’t with the occupy movement. look at the hard data 1% of the country holds most of the wealth so if you are not Warren Buffet or some one like him you are the 99% and tough cookies math is math.

Also do people realize that part of the upset with the  1% is because the majority of their wealth comes in through capitol gains and not hard work? Those capitol gains (to the best of my understanding) are taxed at a lower rate than regular income.

And in closing no one’s life can be used as a blue print for any one else. Good on this person for getting a bit of head start saving for school and finding a place to live where working under 40 hrs a week and making barely above minimum wage can support a single person. But I would challenge this person and every one else to think of how they were at 17 or 18, were you making the greatest life decisions? did you have the guidance you needed from parents and teachers when thinking about paying for your education? Did you have money management classes in school? where you told college isn’t the only way to go? Just some things to think about.
